TRAVEL GUIDE

1. Visa and Entry Procedures

Turkish citizens can obtain a visa for Egypt either upon arrival or online at https://www.visa2egypt.gov.eg/.
The passport must be valid for at least six months.
For business or fair participation, it is recommended to carry your invitation letter, fair registration document, and hotel reservation with you.

2. Customs and Fair Materials

Fair products can be brought into Egypt under temporary import status.
All products must be re-exported after the fair.
For customs procedures, the following documents should be prepared:

  • Product list and invoices
  • Trade registry record
  • Participation certificate or invitation letter
  • Temporary import declaration for the products

3. Transportation and Accommodation

Traffic in Cairo and other major cities can be heavy and disorganized.
Using ride-hailing apps like Uber or Careem is safer and more convenient.
If you take a taxi, always agree on the fare in advance or use app-based payment.
For accommodation, it is recommended to stay in safe areas such as Zamalek, Dokki, or Heliopolis.

If you wish, you may also stay at our partner hotel, which is located closer to the Cairo exhibition area ( EECA ).
